Observation: Flies were observed in the kitchen and store area.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure there are control measures in place to reduce the number of flies in the food premises (i.e. provide UV light, commercial fly coil, etc.) Consult with a pest control company to control flies for the summer and early fall seasons.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Deli display case was at 5-8 deg C at time of inspection (just after lunch time). Constant open/close as per staff.
Corrective Action(s): Continue to monitor and record temp. of this equipment. As per management, service tech had serviced this unit. Defrost cycle should be reduced from 60-70 min cycle).
