401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Paper towel dispenser was left open and the paper towels were not rolling over. Corrective Action(s): - Operator fixed the dispenser and replenished the paper towels at the time of inspection. Ensure this does not happen again in the future. Any staff who notices paper towel is out or dispenser is broken should report the issue to be fixed as soon as possible. Violation Score: 5

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: - Fruit flies observed by the icing tubes above 2 compartment sink. Corrective Action(s): - There is mop bucket in the area. Ensure to remove any water/food sources; do not leave dirty mop in the bucket overnight. Consider installing a trap to catch fruit flies. Date to be corrected by: today. Violation Score: 3

Comments

All handsinks are fully equipped. All cooler at 4C or below. All freezers at -12C to -18C. Bleach sanitizer in spray bottles measured 200ppm with test strips. Ensure all utensils, washable equipment are washed following the manual dishwashing method (wash, rinse and sanitize) Door has been installed by the electrical room - Good. Overall sanitation has improved since the last follow up inspection. Did not observe rodent droppings EXCEPT in the electrical room - ensure this area gets cleaned everyday as well. Observed old foam sealants are removed. Operator stated that pest control company has been visiting the premises biweekly, not weekly. DO NOT reduce the frequency of their visit without notifying the inspector. Biweekly service IS MANDATORY until further notice. Obtain large clips to ensure all the bags are properly closed. Operator stated that moving the ingredients to pest-proof bins is in progress as staff is sorting out organization. Obtain more bins to accommodate more bags.
