Comments

Routine inspection conducted at food facility and the following observations were made during the inspection:

Temperatures:
- Coolers were found at 4C or less.
- Walk-in freezer was found at -6C.
**Ensure that the temperature is maintained at -18C or less.
- Milk and cream dispensers (x2) at 2C.
- Hot holding units were maintained at 60C or above.
- Internal temperature of ingredients in prep cooler at 1C (bottom) and 4C (top).
- Under counter coolers maintained at 4C or less.
- As per staff, temperature logs were maintained. Due to technical issues, couldn't access them on computer at the time of inspection.
**Email the temperature logs to your district EHO.

Hygiene and Sanitizing
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels in front service area.
- Food debris was found in one of the hand wash stations at the front counter area.
**Ensure that the hand wash station is only used for hand washing purposes. Any equipment/utensils to be cleaned & sanitized in the dishwashing sink.
- Sanitizer spray bottle available and the concentration of QUATS noted at 200ppm.
- Sanitizer dispenser releases 200 ppm QUATS at 3-compartment sink.
- Scoops for stirring drinks stored on ice.

Storage
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All products are in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
- Storage area was well-organized.
- Chemicals, including QUATS and cleaners, were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Pest Management
- Professional pest control company conducts routine checks.
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.
- Mechanical traps were present throughout the facility.

Administrative
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Supervisor had FoodSafe Level 1 equivalent.

COVID-19 Safety Plan
- COVID-19 protocols were in place.
- Staff health checks were conducted and records were maintained.
- A COVID-19 checklist was completed during inspection and emailed to the operator. Please review this checklist for more details.
