Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).
All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.
Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #DCAR-ANLMWL have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.
Observed Violations
HYGIENE AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASE: 15030 - CCLR s.46(1) - A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Observation: During tour of lower floor room and washroom it was noted that the papertowel dispenser did not contain single use towels.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure dispenser contains papertowel at all times children are in care
