Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated February 16, 2022 there were 4 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. This inspection was written off site and a copy was emailed to the facility

Upon LO's arrival children were coming in from outdoor play, staff assisted in removing children's coats and boots. Children were assisted with hand-washing and guided to the table for lunch. A staff sat and assisted the children while they ate.
LO observed the physical premise, fire drill logs, attendance records and minor incident log book.

The following education/recommendations were provided:
- Continuing to follow Covid-19 safety protocols.
- Safe medication storage.
- Practicing monthly fire drills and documenting it.
