HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 15
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats sanitizer pail near hand washing sink was tested to be below 50 ppm.
Corrective Action(s): Repeat violation. Ensure sanitizer pails are changed every 2 hours, and keep away from sinks such that water from hand or dish-washing does not dilute the sanitizer.
Staff changed solution in sanitizer pail at time of inspection.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A small hose was attached to the dipper-well spout again, with no air-gap provided. Staff stated this was to ensure water from the spout could reach the centre of dipper-well to provide fresh water into the well, as opposed to leaking/dribbling on the outer portion of the dipper-well.
Corrective Action(s): Repeat violation. Hose removed at time of inspection. Do not connect this hose to the dipper-well spout, as an inadequate air-gap (or lack of air-gap) could potentially contaminate the water supply system due to backflow. Ensure to turn up the tap for the dipper-well such that adequate water pressure allows the stream from the spout to reach the centre of the dipper-well.
Dipper-well tap was turned up at time of inspection, and water stream from the spout was able to reach the centre of the dipper-well.
Violation Score: 9

501 - Operator does not have FOODSAFE Level 1 or Equivalent [s. 10(1)]
Observation: The onsite copy of the operator's FoodSafe level 1 certificate had expired at the end of 2022.
Corrective Action(s): Operator to re-take FoodSafe level 1 or equivalent.
Correct by: 1 month.
Violation Score: 1
