Observation: Droppings were observed in dry storage area, in the stone grills behind the cashier counter, and stone bowls (food contact surfaces) located at the back of the kitchen.
Corrective Action(s): Food contact surfaces were rewashed and sanitized at time of inspection. Rodent droppings were removed from food contact surfaces. Equipment was placed in pest-proof containers with seran wrap covering. Tight-fitting lids are still required for these storage containers.

Dry storage area containing dry ingredients still requires thorough cleaning and sanitization to remove rodent droppings. Please use a 1:10 dilution of household bleach with a minimum 20 minute contact time.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Rodent droppings observed in multiple areas:
1. Along all corners and edges of private dining rooms
2. Front of restaurant where chemicals / rock salts are stored
3. Behind the cashier counter on the SAME shelf where the grills are stored.
4. In the kitchen where the stone bowls are stored
Corrective Action(s): Rodent droppings were removed/wiped with disposable paper towels saturated with a 1:10 dilution of bleach for 20 minutes, then immediately discarded. All stone grills and bowls in proximity to mouse droppings were cleaned and sanitized. Stone grills and bowls were placed in pest-proof rubber containers.

Observation: Floor of walk-in cooler, area near grease interceptor, area underneath cook line, and flooring underneath and behind prep coolers are saturated with food debris and grease.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the aforementioned areas thoroughly and wipe all areas that were affected by rodent droppings with a paper towel saturated with a 1:10 dilution of bleach for 20 minutes.

Closure order issued due to significant pest infestation throughout facility, rodent droppings observed on food contact surfaces including stone grills and individual sized soup pots. Facility is to remain closed until a re-inspection is conducted to verify that the aforementioned corrective action is undertaken and the Closure ORDER Is rescinded in writing from the Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health
