Routine inspection conducted with the presence of the Assistant manager.
General sanitation was satisfactory. Facility was under well maintenance.
Temperature controlled unit:
- Upright freezer, under the counter freezer, upright freezer locked outside all < or = -18.0C. All frozen food were solid frozen.
- Under counter cooler, prep cooler (top and bottom), dairy dispenser all < or = 4C.
- Sauce, meats hot holding all above 60C.
- Temperature logs up-to-date and well maintained. Thermometer available inside the units.
Cleaning and sanitation:
- Hand wash sinks equipped with hand soap, paper towel and hot/cold running water.
- 200ppm Quats available in the dispenser, and in the spray bottles or the buckets for sanitizing the counter tops.
- 3-compartment sink available for cleaning and sanitizing the dishes.
Storage:
- Randomly checked Best Before Date for some food items, no expired food observed.
- Food either in original packages or properly covered from contamination.
- Chemicals properly stored and separate from food on the shelving units at the back room.
Pest control:
- No small/large flies, no rodent activity observed during inspection.
-Back door closed and properly sealed (shared with 7-11).
- Professional pest control company contracted for the regular service.
