Observation: Observed rat in rear storage room.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately contact Pest Control Operator to address issue and remove all pests. Find sources of entry and permanently block/seal to eliminate rodent entry into facility. Start investigation by moving equipment in this room and look for possible entry points.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Many parts of premises not adequately maintained and/or sanitation plan not adequately followed. These areas include, but are not limited to:
- cupboards and shelves in front and kitchen areas;
- Floors under and beside equipment (i.e. cooling units, dishwash area, rear storage room);
-walls in kitchen and food prep areas.
Corrective Action(s): A thorough cleaning of all areas in kitchen, coffee and storage areas is required prior to follow-up inspection date.

Observation: Parts of the kitchen are in a state of disrepair including leaking sink taps, missing sink tap handles, broken cupboard doors, missing handles on cupboard doors, water-damaged and deteriorated cupboard shells and countertops. These issues are impacting the overall cleaning and sanitation of the premises.
Corrective Action(s): A plan must be put in place to repair broken and deteriorated parts of premises. Plan must be submitted to health department and accepted by January 1st 2017.
