Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): low temperature glasswasher measured 0 ppm iodine at the glass surface. Operator indicated that the machine;s iodine supply was refilled and still needed to be primed.
Machine was primed for several minutes however did not produce any iodine onto the glass surface
Corrective Action(s): Correction order issued to stop using glasswasher until it is repaired.
Operator directed to switch to plastic cups until glasswasher is repaired and able to sanitize glassware at 12.5 to 25.0 ppm iodine at the glass surface.
