Observation: under counter cooler measured at elevated range of 8 to 11 C. Thermostat gauge set to 3 of 10. Turned down to 8 on gauge. Staff currently using old dial probe thermometer to measure temperature, but this instrument indicating 0 C. Not accurate.
Corrective Action(s): Obtain proper cooler thermometer. Remove all potentially hazardous foods from unit. Monitor and if unit can maintain 4 C or less return food to unit and instruct staff to keep gauge set to appropriate number to keep food below 4 C, but not to freeze product. Service unit if necessary.
Send pic of unit if working and prior to use.
