Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chemical dishwasher had no detectable chlorine concentration. Air bubbles were observed in the feed line. Staff stated the dishwasher pail was changed this morning and dishware had not been washed yet.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure chemical dishwasher is able to supply 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface during the final rinse to properly disinfect dishware and utensils. Chemical dishwasher was primed and tested at 100ppm at the time of inspection. Ensure dishwasher is checked daily and after sanitizer pails are changed to verify at least 50ppm chlorine is available.

Observation: Walk-in cooler was at 6C to 7C.
Corrective Action(s): Contact service technician and service or adjust cooler and ensure it can maintain 4C or less on a consistent basis.

Comments

-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Front upright cooler was at 4C.
-Back upright cooler was at 3C.
-Bubble tea cooler was at 4C.
-Kitchen freezer was at -10C.
-Bubble tea freezer was at -13C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Fried luncheon meat stored inside hot holding unit is used within 1 hour.
-Chicken was cooked/fried to greater than 74C.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, and liquid hand soap.
-Bleach sanitizer pails and spray bottles were at 100ppm to 200ppm and properly labelled.
-Ice machine was found to be clean and sanitary.
-Blender containers sanitized after each hour of continuous use.
-Raw meats were found stored separately from ready-to-eat foods.
-Facility serviced by professional pest control operator - currently three times per month. Did not observe pest activity at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until July 22, 2028.
