Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection there were nine children, the Manager and two staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool will be completed and a copy will be provided.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
-review of COVID-19 prevention strategies
-duty line information
-minor incident log book entries
-process for validating ECE licenses

The inspection findings were reviewed with the Manager at the time of the inspection. The inspection report and facility risk assessment tool were written off site (.25 hours) and a copy of this report and the risk assessment will be emailed to the facility.
