Follow-up to inspection report #17091 Laser machine for laser hair removal only: Alma Soprano XL(Class 4). this machine is on Health Canada's Medical Devices Active Licence Listing (MDALL). hand sink available in treatment area and equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use towels. High Level disinfectant (CS20) available. Operator training certificates provided. Action Items: -confirm with supplier that the safety goggles provided have an OD of 5+. (wavelength of machine (800-820 am) must be covered by the goggles). -Update the signage on the door to reflect that it is a Class 4 device. Ensure signage is posted on both entrances (from exterior and interior from your home). - cover mirror and sinks with a dark and opaque current during services. -ensure there is adequate ventilation in the room. -review Canadian hair Removal Services Guidelines.
