-Back upright cooler was at 4C.
-Front prep coolers ranged from 2C to 4C.
-Front display cooler was at 4C.
-Freezer units in the back area were at -10C and -18C.
-Accurate thermometers present in cold holding units.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded throughout the day. Deliveries are checked daily to ensure they "pass".
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse temperature of 78C on the dish surface (minimum 71C required for proper sanitizing).
-Quats sanitizer dispenser tested at 200ppm.
-Quats sanitizer pails properly labelled and changed as needed (based on usage). Solution was tested at 200ppm. Staff observed properly testing sanitizer pail concentration after filling.
-Ice machine was found to be clean and sanitary. Ice scoop stored in a sanitary manner.
-Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
-Non potentially hazardous food items are donated to charity. Charity partner picks up the food at the facility.
-Manager had valid FoodSafe Level 1 equivalent training (Restaurants Canada Expiry date:10/23/2023)
