Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).
Risk screening was conducted prior to the inspection.
The following areas were not reviewed for compliance:
- Child records
- Care plans/medication

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

Summary of Inspection

At today’s inspection there were 5 children and 4 staff present.

Licensing reviewed the facility’s COVID-19 prevention strategies and noted the following:
- Health and safety hygiene system in place in response to Pandemic
- WCB required operational plan posted on site
- Covid-19 screening system for families and Staff
- Staff and group plan approval in place to support care and supervision during pandemic
- Physical distancing strategies where appropriate

At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed and a copy was provided.

The following was also discussed:
- Management of children attending both school and facility
- Facility will be closed during the Summer months

A further follow up may be conducted at a later date to review administrative documentation

Facility has been receiving Licensing Officer’s emails.
