Routine inspection conducted. Facility is in very good sanitary condition and is generally well maintained and operated, and is a noticeable improvement from the previous routine inspection. The following observations were noted:
1. Temperatures
- Stand-up coolers at 4C
- Upright freezer and chest freezer at -18C
- Pizza warmer maintains 60C or greater
- Cooling units equipped with accurate thermometers
2. Hygiene and Sanitizing
- Handwash stations in kitchen and restrooms stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
- Restroom in good sanitary condition
- General sanitary condition of facility is good, ventilation slats are well maintained
- Pizza warmer and utensils, knives, trays generally maintained in good sanitary condition
3. Storage
- All food items are stored at least 6" off the floor
- No open containers of flour noted at time of inspection - all flour securely located inside dry storage bin
- Scoops stored outside of the dry storage bin
4. Pests
- No signs of recent pest activity at time of inspection
- Fly trap present on premise
5. Administrative
- Operator has FoodSafe 1, which will expire on July 29, 2018. Go to www.foodsafe.ca to take the Level 1 Refresher Course before July 29, 2018. This is mandatory |
