Violation Score: 25 303 - Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)] Observation: All sinks in kitchen (2 compartment sink and the handwashing sink) do not drain at all. Water pools in the sinks when taps are turned on. Operator has had a plumber inspect the sinks and has provided a report from them indicating that the wall needs to be cut and the pipes need to be changed out. Corrective Action(s): Closure order issued. Repair the sinks such that they can drain properly without any water pooling or pipes leaking, and call your district EHO for re-inspection when ready. Violation Score: 15 501 - Operator does not have FOODSAFE Level 1 or Equivalent [s. 10(1)] Observation: Operator still does not have FoodSafe level 1. Corrective Action(s): Closure order issued to restaurant (see above violations regarding equipment for sanitary maintenance not adequate). Follow up inspection conducted: Both the handwash sink and the 2 compartment sink in the kitchen do not drain at all. Water pools in sinks when faucets are running. Operator has provided a report from the plumber indicating that the wall around the sinks needs to be cut and the pipes need to be replaced. Closure order issued. Restaurant cannot re-open until a re-inspection is done. See above noted violations and conditions of closure order prior to calling for a re-inspection.
