Observation: Few rodent droppings noted in the corner near 3 freezers.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that facility is kept free of pest.
- Remove the rodent droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Use proper PPE during cleaning.
- Discuss the issue with your pest control company (if contracted one) to implement appropriate control measures.
- Keep potential entry points such as doors, receiving doors closed.
- Regularly monitor for any new rodent activity.

Observation: Build up of dirt (flour) observed on the ceiling tiles and kitchen hood in the baking area.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Coolers recorded at or below 4C.
- Freezers recorded below -18C.
- Handwash sink had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels..
- 2 compartment dishwashing sink available. Staff demonstrated proper steps for manual dishwashing. Drain plug and bleach bottle onsite.
- 200ppm bleach solution present in sanitizer spray bottle.
- Staff stated that facility is cleaned thoroughly twice a day.
