Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. 0 PPM QUAT detected in the drive-thru sanitizer container. Container was noted overfilled with wiping cloths.
2. Food soil noted on the blade of the table can opener.
Corrective Action(s): **Issues corrected at the time of inspection**
1. Manager refilled the sanitizer container. 400 PPM QUAT detected after the container was refilled. Do not overfill sanitizer container with wiping cloths as that will deplete the effective concentration much quicker than storing less cloths.
2. Manager cleaned and sanitized the can opener during the inspection.

Observation: 1. Baseboards were noted dislodged by the fountain soda boxes.
2. Customers' washrooms (both male and female) have been closed off for the past few months due to sewage overflow issues.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Reinstall the baseboards as all surfaces in a food service establishment must be in good repair to allow for proper cleaning and sanitation.
2. As per the Food Premises Regulation B.C. Reg. 210/99, section 5 states that a food premises that offer seats for dining purposes must ensure washroom facilities are provided for use by the dining patrons, unless otherwise stated in local bylaws. Operator must fix the washrooms and provide access for dining patrons.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff washroom, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigeration units were at 4.0C or below.
All freezer units were at -18.0C or below.
Food stored protected and off the floor.
Gravy was being hot held at 60.0C.
Fume hood, cook line and interior of the ice machine noted in a sanitary condition.
Food contact items noted in good condition and sanitary.
Drain plugs available for the 3-compartment sink for manual warewashing.
Cooking area's sanitizer container was noted with 400 PPM QUAT.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
General sanitation and organization acceptable.
Manager has a valid FOODSAFE level 1 equivalent certificate - expires July 9, 2027.
