Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer solution for front of house had 0ppm chlorine. Solution was last remade months ago.

Correction: solution was remade at the time of inspection to 200ppm chlorine. This solution should be remade daily to ensure that the concentration is maintained.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Several knives stored in tupperware container on shelving in centre prep table appeared dusted in flour from batter preparation. Operator stated only a few knives are frequently used.

Correction: clean and sanitize knives immediately. Any utensils that are not frequently used must be removed off site.
> Please ensure stored utensils are protected from contamination. Store knives in a knife holder or keep them covered with a towel.

> High temperature dishwasher achieved final rinse temperature of at least 71C as per thermolabel.
> 200ppm chlorine sanitizing solution prepared for back of house.
> No signs of pests at time of inspection.
> Vent hood appeared in sanitary condition. Next service date is scheduled for April 9, 2022.
> No concerns with overall food storage practices.
> Time tracking is taking place for room temperature holding of food for immediate use during lunch rush.
> General sanitation of facility is satisfactory.

COVID Controls:
> Facility does not provide table service. Customers order, pay, and pick up food at the counter.
> Glass dividers are placed between tables that cannot be physically distanced. Please ensure all seated guests remain 2m away from other seated guests.
> Alcohol-based hand sanitizers available at self-serve stations and front counter.

Note: facility has changed names from Norland Grill to K Chicken Burnaby.
> New menu items have been added: korean fried chicken (original, marinated, spicy marinated, garlic soy sauce, cheese snow), cheese snow fries.
