Routine check. Inspection carried out with owner/operator.
This is a food storage facility for frozen seafood only (fish, spot prawns, scallops, crabcakes, etc.)
No live shellfish.
No food processing or re-packaging of food occurs at this site.
Seafood is received pre-packaged and frozen from suppliers and is stored frozen at this site. Five freezers with temperatures below -18C / 0F.
All food is to be from an approved source. Receipts from suppliers are being kept.
Labelling/receipts from Rock the Boat to be adequate for traceability - see Canadian Food Inspection Agency for labelling requirements.
Provide accurate ingredient information to customers.
Fish to be consumed raw - sold as sashimi grade (other than exempt species) - keep information on freezing times and temperatures from supplier (ie -20C for 7 days/ -35C for 15 hours).
Potable water supply (City water).
Premises clean. No obvious signs of pests.
