Summary of Inspection
At today’s inspection there were 11 children in the Group Child Care (under 36 month) program with 3 staff, and 11 children present in the Group Child Care (30 months to school aged) program with 3 staff. The Manager was also on site to assist where necessary.
At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided to the facility along with this report.
The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency.
The following was discussed/information provided:
- Overall condition of the walls in the school aged program
- Ensuring the location of chairs don't allow for hazards to be accessible to children
- The audit of staff and children's files to ensure up to date information is clear
- Nap mat sheets for infants for comfort
- Licensing Duty line: #604 587 3936 for emergencies if area Licensing Officer can’t be contacted.
- Regular review of BCCDC website for COVID-19 updates (see link below)
The facility has been receiving Licensing Officer’s emails.

The contents of this inspection report were reviewed with the Manager while on site. The report was written off-site due to training new staff, therefore no signature attached. Manager was made aware. A copy of the report was provided by mail.
