Observation: 1. Both compartments of fish tank observed to be filthy with black/green growth on glass.
2. Metal storage cabinet (dishpit area) for cleaned food buckets observed to be severely rusted.
3. Black mold like growth observed on the upper inside ledge of ice machine.
4. Walk-in cooler --> significant buildup of mold-like matter observed on all shelves. In addition, metal shelving units observed to be severely rusted.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Clean and sanitize tank immediately (be mindful of alternate storage for fish during cleaning).
2. Storage cabinet no longer suitable for use, remove from premises (today).
3. Dispose of all ice. Clean and sanitize interior of ice machine (today).
4. Clean and sanitize all affected shelving. For the metal units, can replace or resurface (today).

Observation: 1. Kitchen area - ready to eat meats (BBQ pork) and vegetables stored beside and beneath raw meats respectively on push cart. Multiple observations of ready to eat products stored below raw meats.
2. Box of produce observed stored on floor used to prop open dry storage door.
Corrective Action(s): 1. BBQ pork discarded. Reorganize so that raw stored below ready to eat always. All food should also be covered to prevent from contamination at all times when not in use.
2. Do not store any food on floor (at least 6" off).

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Severe fruit fly infestation in dry storage room. Fly activity observed on all shelving, overheading lighting, and empty containers. Lone fly strip was observed to be full with captures.
Corrective Action(s): Obtain the services of pest control company (1 day). Remove all uneccesary equipment from dry storage as these can harbour pests.

Observation: Ceiling along back hallway observed to be dripping. Owner advised that there has been difficulties with getting landlord assistance with regards to the matter.
Corrective Action(s): Repair leak (2 weeks).

Observation: Commercial ventilation hood requires thorough cleaning. Grease droplets observed from multiple surfaces of hood.

Observation: Multiple plastic food storage containers observed to be patched up with duct tape; these were run through the dishwasher. Duct tape is not conducive to cleaning.
Corrective Action(s): Remove all broken/patched up equipment that can no longer be properly cleaned (today).

Hot holding on stove top: tomato sauce 65 C, gravy 65 C, black pepper sauce 86 C.
Rice warmer (wood) 68 C. Rice warmer (stainless steel) 60 C.
Low temperature dishwasher ~ 50 ppm chlorine detectable.
Foodsafe staff on-site.

Front:
