Corrective Action(s): Obtain new bottle that is within its expiry date immediately. Use high-level disinfectant for semi-critical implements such as blackhead removers. Do not use semi-critical implements until disinfectant is obtained. Violation Score: 15

Routine inspection: General: Laundry services done on-site separate from personal items. Treatment bed linen sheets changed after each client. Flooring and lighting adequate. Washroom hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels. Electrolysis: Needles are prepackaged, sterile and and single use. Sharps container available for use. *Follow-up with esthetician on how hand-piece for needles is disinfected. Laser Hair Removal: Laser warning sign posted in door to treatment room. Eyewear states OD 5+ and protects against the same wavelength emitted by machine. Goggles for clients - do not recommend placing a cotton pad between eyes and goggles. Please follow-up with manufacturer on recommended use. Threading: Single-use thread used. Sugaring: One cup/pot is used for each client.
