302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Ice dispenser cover on dining area soda machine had visible mould. 2) Staff rinsed cooking utensils in sink and did not go through the wash, rinse and sanitize steps. Corrective Action(s): 1) Clean and sanitize ice dispenser cover. Manager removed part from machine for cleaning at time of inspection. 2) Manager was proactive and asked staff member to properly wash rinse and sanitize steps. Violation Score: 5 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwashing station by coffee area did not have paper towels. Burger boxes discarded at time of inspection. Violation Score: 3 307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19] Observation: Door to ice machine has cracked, revealing foam underneath.
