Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
- Observed inserts full with house-made tea jelly and grass jelly in room temperature. They were measured at 21C and it appeared that they were cooled overnight as inspection took place before store opening.
Corrective Action(s):
- Products discarded. Ensure to harden the jellies in coolers.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
- Bleach sanitizer too strong.
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure to mix 1/2 tsp bleach to 1L of water. Education provided and bleach was diluted to make 200ppm concentration at the time of inspection. Purchase chlorine test strips that can measure 0 - 200ppm.

- Pink film observed in the ice machine. This is biofilm.
Correction:
- Clean and sanitize the ice machine after turning it off and emptying all ice out.

Observation:
- No hot water dispensing at the handsink due to broken tap knob.
- Liquid soap dispenser is empty at the time of inspection.
Correction:
- Ensure handsink can provide hot & cold water in adequate flow/pressure.
- Staff refilled the soap at the time of inspection.

- Cleaning has been done. Some areas required more cleaning. Refer to the violation noted above.
- Ice machine has been cleaned.
- Handsink tap unit has been replaced. Now handsink supplies hot & cold water in adequate flow & pressure.
- Manager on site certified with foodsafe level 1 equivalent certificate.

*Caulking has been re done around the handsink and warewashing sink. However, the work has not been done by a professional and caulking created very uneven space around the sinks. Remove the caulking and have the work done by a professional.
