Routine inspection:
Laser hair removal using IPL machine:
Laser warning sign available to be put up on door when service being conducted.
Curtain available to be put up to cover mirror when service being conducted.
Laser machine is key operated and equipped with an emergency on/off button.
Client goggles opaque and eyes lined with single use cotton pads. Client goggles disinfected with PREmept CS20 solution after use.
Laser hand piece disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol after use.
Treatment bed linen sheet changed after each client.
Hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Microblading:
All blades and holder prepacakged/presterilized. Discarded after use into a sharps container.
Ink dispensed into single use ink caps.
Same treatment room as laser hair removal. Hand sink adequate.
Waxing/massage (2 rooms):
Hand sinks provided with liquid soap and single use paper towels/freshly laundered linen towels.
All sticks and strips single use.
Treatment bed paper liner single use.
Hot stones washed then wiped down with 70% ispropyl alcohol after use.
Facials:
Tweezers used not meant to break skin. Lancets are single use and discarded into a sharps container.
Comedone extractor disinfected in PREempt CS20 (expiry Feb 14, 2020) solution after use.
Scissors disinfected in 70% ispropyl alcohol.
Sponges, gauze, cotton, etc. single use.
Hydrofacial machines tips disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Metal abrasive tips disinfected in PREempt CS20 solution.
Manicure/pedicure:
All semi critial nail implements (nippers, clippers, and metal cuticle pushers) disinfected in PREempt CS20 solution.
Pedicure tub disinfected with bleach after use.
All buffers, files, sanding blocks, stick on abrasive material for foot files, toe spacers, etc. single use.
Credo blades single use. Blades discarded into sharps container.
Ear piercing:
Studs purchased prepackaged/presterilized.
Piercing gun wiped down with 70% isopropyl alcohol after use.
Other:
Washroom hand sink provided with liquid soap and single use linen towels.
Laundry services done onsite.
Back area provided with a 2 compartment sink for cleaning. Jar with PREempt CS20 solution available for use.
King Research barbicide available for use.
Drinking water provided in single use cups. |
