PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11230 - CCLR s.47 - A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation: Licensing measured the water temperature for three out of five sinks in the washroom in the facility. Three sinks had a temperature of 57.7, 58.2 and 58.9 degrees celsius.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure the water that is accessible to children does not exceed 49 degrees celsius to ensure the health and safety of children in care and to comply with the legislation.
