Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chemical conveyor dishwasher not dispensing chlorine residual at final rinse
- Environmental Health Officer talked spoke with service technician on the phone
- Service technician was at facility yesterday, service technician believes that it is due to high water temperature affecting sanitizer concentration
- Service tech will come to service dishwasher
- There are no events at hall today
- Correction Order issued
Corrective Action(s): -DISHWASHER MUST BE DISPENSING CHLORINE RESIDUAL AT FINAL RINSE!!!
- Dishwasher must be in good working condition
- In mean time, use high temperature dishwasher located at the bar
- Staff must check sanitizer level concentration for dishwasher and sanitizers daily

Observation: Rodent droppings observed in the following areas:
1. by sink cabinet at handwashing station
2. in corners of facility
3. underneath pop syrups in new bar area
4. on chair covers and cardboard boxes in linen closet
Corrective Action(s): - Staff and operator must remove all droppings, clean and sanitize all affected areas
- Pull out all equipment, utensils to access areas near wall
- Remove and dispose of any unnecessary items

Observation: Entry points observed throughout facility.
1. In sink cabinet beside kitchen handwashing station
2. In furnace room by door
3. By door jamb outside staff washroom
Corrective Action(s): - Staff and operator must plug all entry points
- Remove equipment utensils and shelving when necessary to access and plug up holes with
* Pest Block Spray or
* steel wool or
* hardwire mesh

Observation: 1. Slight moderate debris accumulation observed on centre island where spices are stored
2. Metal slats on commercial canopy had moderate - heavy grease accumulation build up
3. Too many empty 5 gallon buckets kept on-site that are not used and unnecessary
Corrective Action(s): 1. Remove and discard any items unnecessary around centre island
Remove all build up and debris in areas
2. Ensure that metal slats are cleaned on a regular basis in addition to professional cleaning
Remove slats, degrease and clean. Staff can alternate slats
3. Recycle at least half or more of these buckets! It is causing clutter in the kitchen.

Routine inspection conducted.
- All temperature meet health requirements:
* Walk-in cooler at <4C
* Upright freezer at -7C
* Walk-in freezer at -17C
- Chlorine sanitizer solution available, concentration at 100ppm
- Pest control in place, monthly contract

Bar areas:
- New high temperature glasswasher available during time of inspection at bar, adequate sanitization temperature reached via hot water (77.7C)
