Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Meat slicer has a build-up of food debris underneath and around the blade. Meat slicers are involved in many foodborne outbreaks (e.g. Listeria bacteria) and can therefore harm the public if they are not cleaned properly every day.
**Correct by: TODAY**
Correction: Take apart the meat slicer and clean thoroughly: 1. Wash with warm soapy water 2. Rinse. 3. Apply bleach sanitizer
Comments

A follow-up inspection was conducted to check on the sanitation of the meat slicer. It is good now. Please continue to conduct a deep clean of the meat slicer daily, removing all parts to clean thoroughly behind the blade. Bleach MUST be used. Thank-you.
