Paper based inspection Report #F00241944:
New manager for UFV Tim Hortons.
New high temp dishwasher installed. Temperature at plate surface reached 74 deg C at plate surface.
New coffee machine added to premises.
Hand sinks provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Quats sanitizer in buckets/spray bottle measured 200 ppm.
New cooler was at 4 deg C.
Walk-in freezer was at -2 deg C. (Delivery just came and constant open/close.)
-Maintain freezer at -18 deg C.
Sandwich prep cooler was at 3-4 deg C.
Small under counter cooler was at 11 deg C. No perishable food items stored in it.
-Service this cooler and it must maintain 4 deg C or colder before storing any potentially hazardous foods.
Dry storage area was very cramp. Food and food-related items were stored off the floor.
No signs of pests noted at time of inspection.
Some debris underneath shelves in walk-in cooler and storage area. Sweep thoroughly and mop floors.
Ensure to follow proper ware washing procedures. Keep all dirty dish wares on one side and air dry on the other end.
Temperatures was not kept up to date. Ensure temperature checks and recordings are done daily.
General sanitation was satisfactory.
Note: Limited food preparation area. Do not add any more food items. This facility is NOT a full size Tim Hortons kitchen.
For future renovations, adequate food preparation areas must be added as well as storage and a proper mop sink area.
