Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #KSEY-B39V68 have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated July 4, 2019 there were 14 children and 3 staff present. At this inspection the above noted contraventions no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
During previous inspections Licensing discussed with and left resources related to: Active Supervision; Reportable Incidents; Lead In Pipes requiring the water to be flushed in the morning;Field Trip Safety and Water Safety.
During inspection Licensing observed children engaged in free play including dramatic play, sand play, construction, creating with Lego etc. Licensing also observed children eating snack.
Upon Licensing's arrival at the facility, staff stated that the children had just arrived from being at a community park.
