Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Upright Blomberg cooler unit noted at 8.0 C during the audit.
A container of spinach was noted at 8.0 C and a container of pizza sauce was noted at 6.9 C.
As per operator, the staff was in and out of this unit, therefore the refrigertor temperature was running a little high. Noted parts of the cooler was at 4.0 C when checked with an IR thermometer.
**Issue corrected during the audit** All food in this Blomberg cooler was moved to another refrigertor unit that was measured at 2.8 C during the audit.

Observation: Debris noted on the floor below the 2-part sink and below the dry storage rack beside the back exit door.
Date to be corrected by: March 8th, 2022.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the debris on the floor noted below the 2-part sink and dry storage rack.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Upright Bloomberg cooler unit was measured at 8.0 C during the audit.
Operator emptied the cooler during the audit and will monitor the temperature. As per the operator, staff was in and out of this unit which may have caused the elevated temperature.
Temperature of the unit should have been checked this morning, however the entry for this morning was not filled out.
Date to be corrected by: March 8th, 2022.
Corrective Action(s): Please monitor the temperature of this unit. Once it is able to maintain temperature below 4.0 C, then you may return cold potentially hazardous food to this unit.
Ensure staff are filling out the temperature log to help monitor the temperature of the unit in order to take corrective action when needed.
Have the unit repair if the temperature of the unit does not return to 4.0 C or lower in a couple hours from now.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.
- Hand wash stations equipped with hot and cold running water, paper towel and liquid soap.
- Refrigerator units (except for the one noted above) were ≤ 4.0 C.
- Freezer unit was at -20.6 C.
- QUAT dispenser at the 2-part sink measured at 200 PPM.
- QUAT spray bottles were measured at 200 PPM.
- All chemical bottles were labelled and stored away from food.
- All food and food contact items were stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- No signs of pest during the inspection.

- Verified operator's FOODSAFE level 1 certificate, on-site at the time of inspection - expires in November 20, 2025
- Permit posted by the front hand wash sink, in a conspicuous location.

- No signature required due to COVID-19 pandemic.
