Licensing reviewed the facility’s COVID-19 prevention strategies

This was the first 6 month routine inspection and no contraventions were identified.
There is no response required from the Licensee at this time.

As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided to the facility along with this report.
The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency.

The following was discussed:
- Active Play promotion and increased outdoor play using the back area of the property
- Hygiene and sanitization practices during Covid-19
- Active Supervision reminders when outdoors
- Reporting of incidents

Reminders:
- Licensing Duty line: #604 587 3936. Available for emergencies if area Licensing Officer can’t be contacted.
- Regular review of BCCDC website for COVID-19 updates (see link below)

The facility has been receiving Licensing Officer’s emails.

Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare
for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).

A further follow up will occur within the next 6 months as part of the first year of operation.
