Observation: 1. The back kitchen hand sink has been moved under the fumehood without Fraser Health approval. Access to this hand sink is hindered and dangerous for accidents as it is right beside the active stoves under the fumehood.
2. The dish washer is broken and has been removed entirely without Fraser Health approval.
Corrective Action(s): 1. The hand washing sink must be installed back into the location as per the original approved plans. Do not use this hand sink to prevent accident and injuries to staf. In the mean time use the front hand washing station. Correction required in two weeks.
2. In the mean time, use the three compartment sink to wash, rinse and sanitize with an adequate sanitizer. Plans update may be required if the dish washer is not going to be replaced.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Food containers and pots were stored on top of the grease trap. The grease trap is contaminated do not store any equipment or food products on here.
2. In walk in cooler there is a can of tomato sauce opened with food contents in it. The metal can will rust and contaminate the food.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure to not store food products or equipment on top of the grease trap. It is dirty.
2. Ensure all food products are stored in food grade containers which can be washed and sanitized. Do not leave food stored in tin cans. Use a metal insert of food grade container.

Observation: Old food debris build up observed under microwaves behind stoves and on some of the shelving with spice powders. Ensure to clean these areas as per the clean schedule.
Corrective Action(s): Clean these areas to get rid of old grease and debris regularly. Check under microwaves and behind stoves. Avoid using particle board as shelving for items such as the microwave. Use something that is durable or easy to clean instead like a plastic or metal tray. Correction required in one week.

Front display glass cooler is in defrost mode to melt ice. Ambient at contents at 4 C and below but fan has been turned off for 1 hour.
Ensure this cooler is maintained and reach 4C and below within 2 hours when the unit is turned back on.
