HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 6
Critical Hazards: There are no critical hazards.
Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Food items such as dry product stored in paper bags were observed to be stored directly on floor.
2. Food item (parsley) stored near hand sink and paper towel dispenser.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure that all food items are stored off the floor to protect food from potential contamination. For example, fluid or chemicals that may be present on the ground (e.g. from mopping or a spill) may potentially soak through packaging. Keeping food items off the ground also allows for clearance for effective cleaning.
2. Parsley relocated to cooler. Do not store food in close proximity to sinks to protect items from potential splashing.
Violation Score: 3

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Food debris and/or grease observed in the following areas:
- Floor-to-wall junctions, particularly behind equipment such as freezers, coolers, and tables.
- Underneath equipment such as tables/shelves.
- In other hard-to-reach areas of equipment, including cooler door seals and along cooler door tracks.
Note: Few flies observed within premises at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all above-noted areas are deeply cleaned to remove food debris and grease, which may attract flies or other pest activity. Date to be corrected by: August 19, 2021.
Violation Score: 3

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
Comments

Routine health inspection conducted.
Coolers at 4 degrees C or less.
Freezers at -18 degrees C or less.
Hot holding internal food temperatures at 60 degrees C or more.
Thermometers in place for cooler units.
Hand washing sinks are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
Bleach water sanitizer available in bucket and in labeled spray bottles at 100 to 200 ppm.
High temperature dishwasher measured 74 degrees C at the utensil surface. Note: Minimum requirement is 71 degrees C at utensil surface.
Ice machine in clean condition. Ice scoop stored separately in dry container.
Permit posted.
Note: Discussed with owner storage reorganization to allow for increased capacity to keep items from being directly stored on the ground. Items that are infrequently used, such as spare dishes/utensils, may be stored on higher shelves, for example. Items that are not required for business use are to be removed from the food premises.
