Warning label states not to be used on eyebrows or lashes and does not have statement saying to be used by trained individual. Corrective Action(s): Discarded. Only use tinting products with appropriate warning label and approved for use by Health Canada. Violation Score: 9

Eyebrow tinting: Services done by trained individual. Refectocil products have adequate warning labels. Hair: o-phenol clippercide available for use. King Research barbicide available for use. Hair wash stations (2) equipped with backflow prevention devices. Laser hair removal by IPL: Warning sign posted on door. Laser machine equipped with an emergency on/off button. Key required for operation. Hand pieces disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Client goggles completely opaque and disinfected in PREempt CS20 (expiry January 2023) solution after use.
