Observation:
- Canned food was dented
Corrective Action(s):
- Ensure all canned foods are free of dents and kept in good condition. Dents can provide oxygen for pathoens to grow to contaminate the food. Dents may also cause leeching of metals, causing a chemical contamination of the food.

Observation:
1) Multiple utensils were stored in a soiled blue container
2) White bin contained both dirty and clean utensils, such as knives and scissors.
3) French fry cutter was visibly dirty and
4) Can opener was dirty

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation:
1) Multiple food items that had open bag, or were not sealed at all, such as the skim milk powder, shredded coconut bag, and various flour containers
2) Multiple foods in walk in cooler were not covered, such as the samosa and the pakora
3) Containers kept behind the cooking line had large holes in them

Corrective Action(s):
1) Ensure that all food items that are kept in bags or containers have lids and are sealed properly.
2) Ensure that all food items kept in the cooler are covered.
3) No containers in the facilities should have holes in them. Ensure that all containers are closed with lids.

Observation:
1) Rodent droppings were observed at multiple locations throughout the facility
2) Large number of flies on sticky tape and traps located throughout the facility
3) Rat trap contained a dead rodent

Corrective Action(s):
1) Clean the rodent droppings
2) Remove the sticky tape and fly traps
3) Remove the dead rodent

Call a pest control company to ensure proper preventative measures are in place and to replace traps

2) Rodent droppings throughout facility - contain pheremones that can attract other rodents

Observation:
Build up of dirt and debris throughout the facility, particularly:
- Dry storage shelves
- Walk in cooler shelves
- The outside of food containers
- Hard to reach areas, such as under the coolers, and storage racks
- The fryer was observed to have heavy grease build-up
- Dry storage behind the line cook area

Thoroughly clean the aforementioned areas. Ensure that there is no build-up of dirt and debris throughout the facility
