Introduction

Introduction Section
An unscheduled/scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance or all areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance with the exception of (list areas not reviewed at the routine inspection).
For follow up inspections adapt the introduction above and include what was reviewed at the follow up i.e. non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated March 11, 2020 there were 43 children and 6 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee and actions required the LO included here. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
Emergency Planning
Discussed situations that may arise requiring off-site evacuation. Supplies are available in the School cupboards, however, this would not allow for easy transport of the items, if needed to evacuate off-site. Manager to develop a system that permits off-site evacuation and to determine an off-site location.
Staff Files
A reminder to complete CRC for Panther Pen. Current ones on file for 2 of the staff files reviewed, noted CRC was on a shared form from another Licensed facility. Also a reminder to obtain a copy of references for one of the staff files. Manager is aware.
