Observation: Dishwasher is not dispensing chlorine sanitizer.
0ppm Chlorine.
Line has large air bubble inside and is empty, sanitizer bottle is near full.
Operation has 2 comp sink for dishwashing and plus rinse sink. Operation is mostly single use utensils, only some equipment is occasionally cleaned in dishwasher.
Quat sanitizer dispensing into sink is >400ppm.
Corrective Action(s): Please service or run the lines until the air bubble is gone and the lines have sanitizer again. Lines are running at the right cycle.
Please use 2 comp sink method for dishes in the meantime.

Observation: Back maintenance room is in need of cleaning and decluttering. Potental harbourage area for pests. Snap trap near door.
Door handle missing, raw wood showing in hole.
Walk in cooler has 2 large, raw wood pieces on the walls. One is molding.
There is also duck tape in various areas in the cooler.
Behind laundry sink and laundry machine area.
Cutting boards are in need of repair, replacement or scrubbing; some minor molding scratches and grooves.
Personal items are being stored in rack on top of customer food items (drinks, juice, unclean lunch containers, snacks, candy)
Corrective Action(s): Back maintenance area: please clean, declutter and remove harbourage material.
Block and seal light showing through back door.
Remove raw wood and tape from cooler, paint or seal with cleanable, durable, non porous material such as plastic.
Clean corners of floors and see if small black specks (potential droppings) reappear.
Operator has plans to replace, repair cutting boards or use alternative food contact surfaces such as mini boards for cutting items such as bananas.
Remove personal items, store below or separate from customer items or store in separate bin.

Floors were reasonably clean and free of grease at the time of inspection.
No obvious signs of pests at the time of inspection.
Would recommend blocking small hole of light showing through back door bottom to prevent pest entry.
Staff washroom reasonably clean and well supplied with soap and paper towels.
