"308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation:
Blender sink cupboard has had significant water damage
Mould inside cupboard
Front facing missing from various areas of cupboards
.
Correction: Repair/replace all cupboards, drawers, counters that have had damage due to water/moisture
Ensure all doors and drawers close properly; repair/replace those that are damaged
Ensure all sinks are tight fitting and do not permit water to enter into lower cupboards
Seal holes in which food debris accumulates"

Subsequent inspections resulted in discussions with Management in regards to the cupboards requiring replacement or repair. Exposed wood and water damage of cupboards needs to be repaired or replaced. Exposed wood is not an easily cleanable surface. Mould growth is observed in some places as a result of continued water damage and exposed wood.
