Observed Violations
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation: Licensing reviewed the emergency kit and some of the food has expired. The licensee said she will check the kits frequently and replace items if needed.
Corrective Action(s): Licensee must ensure that all emergency kits have supplies, food, and water that is not expired.

At the inspection dated March 4, 2024, there were 4 children in care with the licensee.
At the inspection, the above noted contraventions were identified. Please provide Licensing with a written response, by the date noted below, stating how the identified contraventions will be addressed in order to ensure year round compliance.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. A copy of the report and the corresponding Risk Assessment was emailed to the Manager.
