Staff state old sanding band is discarded before the new client comes. Corrective Action(s): Always discard sanding bands as soon as you are done with it and disinfect the tool immediately after. Staff removed and discarded sanding bands at the time of inspection. Violation Score: 15

Routine Inspection Services provides: nails (waxing services currently not provided). Hand sink in service area provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use towels. Pedicure bowls lined with single-use plastic disinfected with bleach. All files, buffers, and sanding blocks single use. Single-use items purchased pre-packaged. Semi-critical items such as clippers, nippers, cuticle pushers and callus removers disinfected with a high level disinfectant (disinfectant within expiry date). Soaking tray and timer available for use. In-use CS20 solutions labelled with a 14-day re-use period. Implements kept organized and in a clean condition. Two-compartment sink available for cleaning and washing implements. Facility has adequate lighting. Laundry available on-site.
