Observation: - Ice creams cones stored adjacent to handsink with cones over edge of handsink. Splashing water from handwashing can contaminate food products.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove ice cream cones from this area. Do not store food products directly adjacent to handsink.

Observation: - Glass door undercounter cooler was operating at 12C
Corrective Action(s): - Have cooler repaired/service so that it is able to maintain a temperature of 4C or colder. Until cooler is repaired/serviced and able to maintain a temperature of 4C or colder, do not store any potentially hazardous foods in this cooler. [Date to be corrected by 29-Jun-2021]

Observation: - Additional food items (soft serve, ice cream, rice, pre-cooked chicken, and sauces) added to menu and additional equipment (eg. rice cooker, instapot, hot holding unit, soft serve machine) have been added to premises for which approval was not received. Approval of plans was based on menu of bubble tea, pre-made cakes, and tea/coffee. Size/layout of premises does not allow for increase in menu items.
Wooden partition/wall has been added to service counter. Wood is not sealed.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove additonal items from menu, remove additional equipment which was added and return premises to layout which was approved. [Date to be corrected by: 29-Jun-2021]
- Paint/seal wood so that it is smooth and washable and able to be maintained in a sanitary condition. [Date to be corrected by: 29-Jun-2021]
- In future, if Operator would like to propose changes, proposal must be submitted to Fraser Health for review and Operator must receive approval prior to making any changes.
