Introduction

An unscheduled/scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing of Practice (DLSP). All categories of care were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19080 - CCLR s.57(2)(b) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility. Observation: During the routine inspection 10 children's files were reviewed and 3 children's files were missing an enrollment date. Corrective Action(s): Please ensure all children's files are complete. Date to be Corrected: July 24, 2023

Comments

At the inspection dated July 10, 2023 there were 24 children 4 staff, 1 manager and 1 practicum student present. At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee and actions required the LO included here.
