Routine inspection conducted. Facility is well lit and is generally in good sanitary condition. The following observations were made:
1. Temperatures
- Stand-up beverage cooler at approximately 4-5C
- Domestic refrigerator at 4C
- Domestic freezer compartment at -18C
- Chest freezers at -18C or below
- Note: Not all temperature logs are updated. Ensure that temperature logs for all coolers are updated each day of operation
2. Hygiene and Sanitizing
- Hand wash station adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
- Popcorn machine maintained in sanitary condition. Hot dog machine currently not in use, but in sanitary condition
- 200 ppm chlorine bleach spray bottle available on-site
- Single-use disposable utensils are unused and securely stored
- Two-compartment sink at front used for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing utensils. Ensure that you sanitize with 200 ppm bleach for 2 minutes
3. Storage
- All food items, including popcorn kernels, securely stored in containers with tight-fitting lids
- Food items elevated at least 6" off the floor - excellent
- Back storage area is generally well organized
- Chemicals are stored in separate compartment from any utensils or food contact surfaces
4. T-Fal Deep Fryer
- Facility has installed a portable T-Fal Deep Fryer for fries, and is used once a day. There is an overhead ventilation system, however there does not appear to be a fire suppression system in place. EHO has forwarded this to the fire department for further review
5. Pest Control
- Mechanical traps do not contain any rodents
- Ensure that you contact your professional pest control company to continue to monitor for rodent activity
6. Administrative
- Permit posted
- Staff on duty has FoodSafe 1
A follow-up inspection will occur to ensure that rodent droppings are removed. |
