Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Brown organic debris observed on the interior of ice machine.
Correction: Discard all ice from the machine. Clean and sanitize the interior of the machine to remove all organic debris to prevent cross contamination. Ensure the ice machine is cleaned regularly. Date to be completed: immediately.

Follow-up Inspection Conducted
- Breaded prawns observed raised closer to heat lamp at 60.9 C.
- Ice machine observed free of debris and scoop stored in sanitary manner
- No food or food contact surfaces observed stored on the floor
- No sign of pest activity. Rodent droppings removed.
- Gap sealed under back door
- Cooler gaskets observed free of debris
- Long standing debris cleaned behind rice cooker

Covid-19 Follow-up
- Occupancy limits posted in office area and bathrooms
- Staff observed wearing face coverings that cover the nose and mouth

Actions Needed:
- Clean the long standing debris on stove by dials in kitchen area (As noted on previous inspection).
- Ensure your Covid-19 Safety Plan meets updated requirements of WorkSafeBC and the Provincial Health Orders.
- A cleaning and disinfection log of all high contact surfaces should be kept to ensure staff completes it daily. This procedure should be documented in your Covid-19 Safety Plan.
- All pest control reports are to be kept and recommendations followed.
