Observation: - Mildew/mould noted in interior of ice machine. Yellow grime and hair noted in reservoir at bottom.
Correction: - Do not serve ice. Empty ice and clean and sanitize ice machine according to manufacturer's instructions. [Correction date: today]

Observation: Mould growth observed in the interior of the ice machine.
Correction: Clean and sanitize area noted.
Comments

- Mouse droppings and rodenticide have been cleaned up. Pest control technician was on-site and service report reviewed at time of the inspection. Operator reported potential access point was identified and addressed. Pest control contract now in place with regular monthly service; however, initially with weekly service to ensure activity decreases. Keep copies of reports on-site.
- Continue to monitor for any further activity and clean up any additional droppings and disinfect areas
- Areas identified in previous report have been cleaned. Ensure premises is maintained at this level of sanitation. Continue to keep floors clear to facilitate cleaning and monitoring for pest activity. Additonally, clutter on the floor creates runaways and hiding places for rodents.
- Interior of ice machine has been cleaned. Keep lid/door closed to protect the ice and interior from contamination.

Code 401: Operator reported the handsink within the prep table has not been in use for a number of years due to poor location with limited access. Plumbing has been disconnected. File to be reviewed. It is important to have designated handwashing sink that is easily accessible to encourage frequent handwashing.
