Observation: Identified areas related to food contact surfaces (mchicken/hashbrown freezers/burger wrappers) not being maintained in a sanitary condition also contributing to the potential of contaminating food.
Corrective Action(s): These areas must be maintained in a manner that allows them to be easily cleaned (frost), and/or cleaned on a more frequent basis to prevent product contamination. Keep these areas clean.

Observation: The following areas were noted either dirty or excessively untidy:
- Walk-in Freezer is significantly disorganized and boxes are all over the floor;
- Burger wrapper holder;
- Area below and around burger conveyor belt;
- inner cavity bottom of mcchicken freezer (picture);
- Hashbrown freezer (defrost & clean) - picture;
- Drive thu beverage area floor (picture);
- Areas below and around most legs and wheels of equipment in food prep area of premises.
Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean up above identified areas by follow up inspection date noted on report.

Observation: Spare equipment shelf and counter and bacon holding section observed significantly deteriorated. MDF flaking off, rubber/plastic cover peeling off in fragments.
Corrective Action(s): Remove this piece of equipment from premises. This should be completed prior to follow up inspection date noted on report.

Comments

The kitchen area is especially under-maintained. Staff need to do a better job of cleaning during and at the end of the day. Repetitive cleaning issues persist at this location. The front cashier station and back storage area is better.
